Visual Identity

Château de Vignée, a historic hunters' hotel in the Belgian Ardennes, sought to become a luxurious retreat for guests looking to escape the fast pace of modern life. The estate's natural surroundings became the core inspiration for the branding and interior design. We were tasked with transforming 25 bespoke rooms, a bar and lounge, fine dining restaurant, private dining room, two event venues, and a spa into spaces that would embody the beauty of the Ardennes.

The design celebrates the ever-changing landscape of the region, where nature evolves with the seasons. Inside, the connection to the outdoors is felt through materials and features like the seasonal faux flower installation in the lobby and a custom bas-relief hunting scene made from local blue stone.

The graphic elements are reduced to a bare minimum, allowing nature to reign in the close-up, which includes detailed photography of seasonal elements like moss and fungi. Luxurious, yet uncoated paper adds a dimension of tactility to the stationery.
